Navamsha: D9 mapping for all 12 natal signs

Navamsha, or D9, divides each natal zodiac sign into nine parts of 3°20′. A planet’s exact sidereal degree determines its D9 sign. Choose its natal sign below for the complete mapping table. These guides explain the calculation; they do not predict a marriage or identify a future partner.

How do I use these guides?

Start with the calculation facts in each guide. For current timing, check the panchang or today's sky. Read the methodology before comparing results from different calculators.

How we calculate

Is astrology a guarantee of what will happen?

No. These calculations locate celestial bodies; astrology is a reflection and timing tradition, not evidence of guaranteed health, financial or relationship outcomes.

How are these results calculated?

Positions come from Astronomy Engine, an open-source astronomy library, and are checked against Swiss Ephemeris in our methodology tests. Western readings use the tropical zodiac; Vedic readings subtract the Lahiri ayanamsa. Terms are defined in the glossary.
