What does the 7th house represent in astrology?

Here, the seventh house is a symbolic lens for one-to-one agreements, including partnership and collaboration. It cannot describe an unknown person as a fact.

Western / tropical

Gemini on the seventh house can be read as a partnership theme of exchange, questions and flexibility. Conversation may be a way to keep a connection alive, but more words do not always make the agreement clearer. Ask whether both people can describe what they decided in the same terms. This symbolism does not establish that a partner will be inconsistent or that you will have multiple marriages.

Vedic / sidereal

In sidereal Gemini, Mercury is the seventh lord. Its placement and the rest of the chart must be calculated before a Jyotish timing interpretation. A dual sign is not evidence of a particular relationship count or outcome.
