How to find out your numerology number?
For timing, the number you want is your personal year, which uses only your birth month, your birth day and the current calendar year. Add each digit and reduce until you have a single number from 1 to 9. (Your life path, by contrast, uses the full birth date including the year you were born.)
A worked example with an invented birthday, February 12, in 2027:
- Month: 2.
- Day: 1 + 2.
- Year: 2 + 0 + 2 + 7.
- Sum: 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 7 = 16.
- Reduce: 1 + 6 = 7.
Someone born on February 12 is in personal year 7 for 2027. The personal year calculator does this from your birth date.
This page uses the calendar year, so the year changes on January 1. Some practitioners run it from birthday to birthday, which would keep the February 12 person in personal year 6 until February 12, 2027.
What personal year 7 is linked with
Seven is the number of study and introspection, and year 7 is usually described as a pause in the cycle. After the outward responsibilities of year 6, the themes turn inward: learning, analysis, spiritual or philosophical questions, rest. Writers often say that pushing hard for external results in year 7 feels like swimming upstream.
