Janma nakshatra: meaning in astrology
Janma nakshatra means birth nakshatra: the lunar mansion the Moon occupied when you were born. It is one of the most personal factors in a Vedic chart. It sets the starting point of the Vimshottari dasha sequence, it is the reference for tara bala when choosing good days, and many families use it in naming and in marriage matching.
